We are a California based, woman-founded, and run business. Started in early 2018, we began by selling only bamboo straws with a vision to bring awareness about the impact single-use plastic has on our planet and what each of us can do to reduce our own consumption. Our vision has remained laser-focused in seeking alternatives to single-use plastic and in early 2019 we expanded to carry bamboo utensils.

We chose bamboo because it chose us! It’s the fastest growing and most sustainable plant in the world and is naturally anti-microbial and anti-fungal! Our products are hand-carved and untreated making each set individually unique with natural characteristics and all that bamboo goodness!

Throughout our inception and growth, we have sought to maintain close relationships with the vendors we source our bamboo from and our production team. Knowing where our products come from and how they are made is important to us and our commitment to you is that we will continue to provide quality bamboo products while also maintaining fair-trade standards for those we work with.

And to double-dip on the feel-good status, we donate 33% of proceeds to well established and reputable ocean clean-up non-profits throughout the world.
