The Bamboo Straw Co., started as a vision during yoga teacher training in Indonesia in 2018. With my former business partner, we dreamed up a plan with a mission to replace the 50 million plastic straws used in the US every day. The journey turned out to have lots of twists and turns and our eco-friendly mindset that started as a passion project for combatting plastic straws quickly turned out to be the greatest adventure of my life!
Embracing a more eco-friendly lifestyle doesn’t have to be a challenge and I am committed to bringing you only the best quality, handcrafted, fair-trade, organic products, made by some really amazing artisans, tailors, and people I personally know and love. I’ve expanded and learned what makes really great bamboo and eco-friendly products and how important it is to know where and how products claimed as “eco-friendly” are produced.
